Individual Counselling

As well as seeing couples I also see individual clients.  Life can sometimes be rough, tough and unfair and most people find themselves in distress or difficulties at some point in their lives.  It could be relationship difficulties, sexual difficulties or individual issues relating to stress, depression or anxiety.

Counselling and psychotherapy is a way to thoughtfully explore your current situation and to reflect on your options with a trained professional so that constructive changes can be made.

Deciding to see a counsellor or psychotherapist for the first time can feel like a confusing and nerve-wracking experience.  Who should one choose, how to go about it, what to expect.  I hope the information here will answer some of the questions you might have but if there is anything else you want to know, please feel free to contact me.

I have more than 10 years of experience as an individual counsellor, having qualified from Edinburgh University with a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.  I have been trained in the dialogue between person centred and psychodynamic therapeutical approaches.

All my services are private and confidential.  I am a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor/Psychotherapist and BACP accredited as a counsellor and psychotherapist and bound by their code of ethics and subject to their complaints procedures.

If you want to make an appointment to see me or would like to ask any questions about the services I offer you can get in touch either by calling 07980984097 or emailing me through the confidential website contact form.
